Commercial Operations Loan Specialist II

Description

As the Commercial Operations Loan Specialist II, you will be responsible for processing commercial credit in support of underwriting during origination and ongoing portfolio management activities. You will communicate with internal and external customers, identify required information, and provide status updates. You will maintain and update systems, determine and order necessary due diligence, assist with credit transfers, support the establishment and maintenance of virtual credit files, and prepare files for underwriting according to established policies and procedures. Additionally, you will provide general operational support to the Business Banking Operations department.

Qualifications

  • An Associate’s or Bachelor's degree is preferred, or 3-5 years of relevant business experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in Banking and/or Financial Services.
  • Highly motivated, team-oriented, with analytical skills for problem resolution.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and pipeline of credits.
  • Experience in a business/commercial lending environment, knowledge of products, practices, and policies. Knowledge of SBA processing and real estate secured lending is a plus. Advanced knowledge of commercial loan documentation, financial statements, and due diligence is required.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook; experience with Salesforce, FaCT, AFS, Relay, Alfresco, Mainframe is a plus.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm EST, hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
