Griffin Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial/Multifamily Project Manager to lead Commercial/Multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
This position is responsible for the overall financial, schedule, contractual, and operational performance of assigned projects and serves as a primary point of contact for owners, architects, subcontractors, and the internal project team.
The ideal candidate is a proactive construction professional who understands that successful project management requires more than tracking tasks—it requires anticipating problems, protecting project margin, maintaining schedules, leading people, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
Procore is Griffin Construction’s system of record for Commercial/Multifamily construction. The Commercial/Multifamily Project Manager is expected to be highly proficient in project budgeting, change management, schedules of values, subcontract and purchase-order management, RFIs, submittals, drawings, inspections, and project documentation.
This is a leadership position, not simply an administrative project management role. The Commercial/Multifamily Project Manager is expected to remove roadblocks for the field team, communicate clearly, hold team members and subcontractors accountable, develop less-experienced staff, and influence outcomes through sound judgment, credibility, and strong relationships.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the project from preconstruction through final completion and approach every decision with a focus on protecting the client relationship, project schedule, construction quality, and Griffin Construction’s financial performance.
