Job summary

Tiello is seeking a Project Manager for Commercial Masonry Construction in Charlotte, NC. The role partners with the client and construction team, influencing safety culture and decision-making on cost and schedule.

Projects range from Education to Healthcare and Mixed-Use, with project values from $1M to $30M. Strong communication with clients and subs is essential, along with leadership and safety program development.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of commercial construction.
Exposure to/familiarity with masonry/concrete construction.
BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred NOT required.
Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and design consultants.

Responsibilities

Oversee & Direct the project schedules and budgets for successful completion of each project.
Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery.
Oversee and Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors
Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable.
Work with Superintendents to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
Manage project deliverables
Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting
