Qualifications

• Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Maritime Transportation, Marine Engineering Technology, or Maritime Business Administration
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree seeking program for the duration of the experience
• Strong academic performance
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
• Available to work on site 40 hours per week
• Valid driver’s license for work-related travel
• Reliable transportation to and from place of work
• MIN - $25.60 per hour / MAX - $29.87 per hour

Responsibilities

• Support real-time voyages for Marathon time-chartered vessels, helping manage day-to-day operations and logistics for waterborne cargoes
• Coordinate with Captains, Brokers, Chartering, Trading, Scheduling, Agents, Tug providers, Bunker Vendors, and Terminals to keep ships and cargoes on track
• Gain exposure to Marine Vetting, Port Management, and the commercial aspects of the Global Marine business
• Split your time between job shadowing, hands-on voyage management work, and a focused project that drives value for the team
