Caterpillar's Electric Power Division has an open opportunity as a Commercial Manager. The Commercial Manager will act as the key interface between customers, dealers, business development, engineering, and product teams, helping drive quotation development, pricing, solution definition, training, and customer opportunity execution for the Integrated Power Systems portfolio.
Leads commercial and technical sales support for Caterpillar's Engineering Services and Integrated Power Systems business. Responsible for developing customer solutions, supporting quotations and pricing, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing dealer and customer engagement, delivering training programs, and driving execution of strategic opportunities involving switchgear, controls, microgrids, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and distributed energy solutions. Serves as the primary link between customers, dealers, engineering, business development, and product management to ensure successful solution delivery and business growth.
Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
This position is located in Alpharetta, GA or Irving, TX. Travel up to 25% is required. Domestic relocation assistance is offered for this position. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.

$159,120.00 - $238,680.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
