Are you an experienced HVAC technician who enjoys leading maintenance efforts and solving complex building issues? We’re looking for a Maintenance & HVAC Technician to lead the performance, efficiency, and reliability of our commercial and residential systems. This is a hands-on role for a skilled professional who thrives on taking ownership and delivering high-quality work.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead HVAC Operations: Diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across multiple properties.
• Supervise Preventive Maintenance: Ensure timely inspections, tune-ups, and seasonal service for HVAC systems and building infrastructure.
• General Maintenance & Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and kitchen equipment as needed.
• Emergency Response: Act as the primary responder to HVAC and maintenance-related emergencies, coordinating repairs and communicating updates.
• Hands-On Work: Perform installations and repairs of building systems and components including doors, ceilings, flooring, and piping.
• Optimize Systems: Recommend energy-saving measures, equipment upgrades, and operational improvements.
• Oversee Life Safety Systems: Maintain fire suppression, alarm systems, and building compliance.
• Mentor Support Staff: Provide guidance to junior maintenance staff or outside contractors, ensuring quality control and safe practices.
• Seasonal Support: Assist with snow removal and exterior upkeep as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive hands-on experience in HVAC service, installation, and troubleshooting (EPA Certification).
• Proven track record in commercial property maintenance, with basic skills across plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage emergency repairs confidently.
• Strong understanding of building automation systems and smart technologies.
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to customer service and teamwork.
• Willingness to mentor junior team members and help build a high-performing maintenance team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
