Job summary

Colonial Pipeline Company is seeking a Commercial and Logistics Representative in Alpharetta, GA. You will schedule product purchases and sales across modes, manage inventory, and work to optimize CPM financial results while aligning with the marketing strategy.

You will coordinate with internal teams, monitor market conditions, analyze opportunities, and develop data-driven insights to support commercial decisions. Travel is minimal, with strong safety and compliance focus throughout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, logistics, marketing, advertising, or communications.
• 5+ years in marketing, refining, or midstream logistics.
• Experience with pipeline, terminal, truck, rail, and/or marine logistics.
• Experience managing counterparties on pipelines and at terminals.
• Ability to analyze data to support development and execution of commercial activity.
• Knowledge of North American refined products markets, credit, risk management, and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule product purchase and sale commitments across all modes and geographies for CPM and CTOC.
• Manage inventory for all products and locations in line with the S&OP plan.
• Coordinate with Colonial personnel to maximize CPM financial results.
• Communicate changes and adjust purchases and sales for optimum outcomes.
• Record scheduling activity in third-party systems and KPIs dashboards.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with the Manager to execute scheduling and KPI impact.
• Develop internal and external partnerships and attend scheduling events as appropriate.
• Monitor location, grade, and arbitrage; perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
• Create data-driven metrics to support commercial decisions.
• Support deal entry and daily position reporting per internal controls.
• Collaborate with credit, risk, settlement, and reporting teams.
• Manage projects and seek business improvements while adhering to safety policies.
