Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking an experienced Credit Administrator to manage a portfolio of troubled and distressed commercial and CRE credits.

You will develop strategies to minimize potential losses and coordinate with lending staff and legal counsel to protect the bank's interests. Applicants should have a strong background in commercial credit underwriting, collections, and regulatory compliance, plus a Bachelor's degree and several years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Portfolio Management or Loan Review preferred.
• Prior commercial workout experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files to understand transaction and borrower context.
• Take action to enforce bank's rights or position with respect to loan and collateral.
• Discuss issues with supervisor or legal counsel to develop strategies.
• Document loan files with respect to actions taken.
• Work with third parties to dispose of collateral.
• Coordinate with commercial banking officers on shared accounts.
• Analyze financial statements and cash flow to assess borrower strength.
• Respond to inquiries from customers, regulators, or business community.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and bank policy.
• Develop and implement credit administration strategies to minimize losses.
• Collaborate with management to ensure accounts are managed per policy.
