Job summary

Bank of Hope in New Jersey is seeking a Portfolio Officer - CBG to underwrite commercial loans, analyze financial statements, and monitor covenants and reporting. You will prepare credit memos and present loan packages for approval, while gathering collateral information and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role involves ongoing financial analysis, site visits as needed, and collaboration with Relationship Managers to grow the loan portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 3–5 years of commercial lending experience.
• Intermediate MS Office applications proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial loans and monitor credit risk and reporting.
• Prepare credit approval memos and submit for loan approval in a timely manner.
• Present loan packages to lending authorities for approval.
• Monitor covenants and conditions per loan agreements and report violations.
• Assist in loan closing and funding per bank procedures.
• Analyze collateral values and insurance coverage; gather supporting documents.
