Job summary

Responsibilities include reviewing packages, preparing security documents, typing letters, screening calls, meeting customers for small business loans, and contributing to month-end reporting and third-party documentation orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer experience including Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Proficient typing skills.
• Ability to interpret the needs of customers and effectively resolve any problems to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and prepares loan packages and documentation following underwriting guidelines and policies.
• Prepare loan documents to protect the bank's security position; includes notes, sworn statements, security agreements, addendums and mortgages.
• Type letters, memos and reports for loan officers.
• Screen incoming calls and write routine correspondence for loan officers.
• May meet with customers and close small business loans.
• Prepare month-end and quarter-end reports for Board meetings.
• Order third-party loan documentation such as title commitments, searches, valuations and insurance.
• Collect pending loan documentation and assist loan officers with delivery of documents.
• Advances commercial credit lines and floor plan lines of credit.
