Job summary

Coastal is seeking candidates for a hybrid role in the Seattle area within the Credit Department. You will create and maintain commercial loan collateral files, prepare documentation to fund new and renewed loan requests, and review documents for lenders prior to signing.

Role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Associates degree or equivalent and 2–4 years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Overview

Work within the credit department with lenders, bankers and public in maintaining and growing the bank's loan portfolio. Process and maintain the bank's loan documentation and files. Level and grade are determined by experience. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 to 3 days per week at our Silver Lake Branch. Candidates must be located in the greater Seattle area.

Responsibilities To Include

• Create and maintain commercial loan collateral files
• Prepare documentation and fund new and renewed loan requests
• Review documentation for lender prior to signing
• Monitor commercial loans for compliance -HMDA
• Audit loan files
• Problem solve
• Order flood, title reports, UCC
• Loan file maintenance
• Review entity documents
• Track for outstanding items
• Customer service
• Scanning all documents related to collateral files
• Compliance with all regulatory requirements
• other duties may be assigned
• WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Proven effective verbal and written communication skills
• Required to handle multiple tasks at the same time
• PC experience navigating in a Windows environment and using multiple applications
• Must have excellent attention to detail to ensure timely and effective communication with customer until request/issues have been resolved.
• Prior experience with personal computers and Windows based software and excel spreadsheets.
• Cooperative, professional attitude with customers, lenders and co-workers
• SBA experience preferred
• EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
