Job summary

Park Bank is seeking a Commercial Processor to ensure accurate and timely packaging of all business loans originated. You will work with bank staff and vendors to obtain and verify information, and prepare closing packets.

Key duties include creating accurate loan documents, verifying CIP information, coordinating with Business Bankers and Credit Analysts, and booking renewals and extensions to keep processing on track. Strong accuracy and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1-3 years' work experience in financial environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Post-secondary degree in Business/Finance or related
• Experience in loan compliance documentation and 2-5 years in loan origination and document preparation

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate loan documents with no critical errors
• Review documents to verify CIP information and authority to borrow on behalf of entity
• Communicate with Business Bankers and Credit Analysts to resolve discrepancies in information received through application/underwriting and obtained by processing through outside sources
• Review closing packages to ensure that documents sent to closing were returned with proper signatures
• Book renewals, modifications, extensions and basic originations in a timely manner
• Verify accuracy of requested loan draw amounts
• Follow-up on document exceptions with Business Bankers and title companies. Receive outstanding title policies and recorded documents

General Summary:

The primary function of the Commercial Processor is to ensure accurate and timely packaging of all business loans originated. Work with bank staff and vendors to obtain and verify information needed to process business loans. Use information provided to generate an accurate and complete closing packet. Provide exceptional customer service and support in building positive, productive relationships with clients, associates and vendors.
