Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in commercial lending documentation.
• 3–4 years of Loan Assistant I or comparable experience.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's/finance coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tracking and management of the loan pipeline, loan maturities, uninsured reports, and past dues reports to ensure timely processing.
• Prioritize tasks to meet processing goals and customer expectations.
• Provide back-up support to other Loan Assistants to cover PTO and absences.
• Maintain knowledge of state and federal lending regulations and bank policies to ensure compliance.
• Collect and organize all necessary borrower documentation (income verification, credit reports, IDs).
• Input data into loan processing systems accurately and efficiently.
• Order title searches, UCC searches, appraisals, and flood certifications when needed.
• Coordinate closings with lenders, attorneys, and clients; initiate disbursement of funds.
• Review closed loans for document completion and proper booking.
