Job summary

Park National Bank in Mount Vernon, OH, seeks a Commercial Loan Assistant I with a hybrid work option after training. You will coordinate documents, review third-party reports, and ensure accurate loan data and coding for closing deadlines.

Responsibilities include client/vendor communication, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with title companies and insurers. A High School diploma or better is required, with under 2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and collect required documentation to meet loan closing deadlines.
• Order and review third-party reports (title, appraisal/evaluation, UCC searches, environmental screens, flood determinations, and insurance).
• Ensure proper documentation and loan coding in regulatory compliance.
• Review loan documents for accuracy and completeness; escalate issues as needed.
• Validate and maintain accurate loan data in the loan origination system.
• Research and resolve loan issues promptly.
• Collaborate with title company and insurance agencies to meet closing requirements.
• Perform or request maintenance and servicing on commercial loans; attend meetings.
• Adhere to Bank’s compliance and risk management policies; deliver high service levels.
