Commercial Lending Assistant

The Lending Assistant will assist with loan documentation, processing, closing, and monitoring.

Job Summary

Pay: $65k-$70k

Shifts Available: Monday through Friday

Hours: 8am to 4:30pm

Responsibilities

1. Assist lenders in procuring documentation and information essential to loan application
2. Review approval for accuracy
3. Assist lenders with providing superior customer service
4. Engage attorney or document preparation to prepare documents for closing
5. Act as a liaison with attorneys and lenders and coordinate closing dates
6. Obtain all necessary insurances and ensure coverage requirements are met
7. Carefully review loan documents for closing to ensure accuracy
8. Clear any documentation exceptions
9. Prepare commitment letters when required
10. Disburse loan proceeds at closing
11. Prepare post-closing booking packages

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3 years of lending assistant or loan processor experience
• Knowledge of commercial real estate and C-I loan documentation
