Placements24, on behalf of our client in Welkom, seeks a seasoned Commercial Litigation Lawyer to spearhead dispute resolution from inception to resolution, including settlements, arbitration, or trial.

You will develop litigation strategies, supervise junior staff, conduct discovery, argue motions, and represent the company in court, with a focus on civil procedure, evidence law, and commercial statutes.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 6 years of dedicated commercial litigation experience.
• Proven track record of successfully handling complex disputes in South African courts.
• Exceptional courtroom advocacy, negotiation, and mediation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of civil procedure, evidence law and relevant commercial statutes.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Experience working within or advising clients in the Free State province is an advantage.
