Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in New York and in good standing.
• At least 3 years of litigation experience with strong motion practice, case management, and courtroom advocacy.
• Proven ability to handle high-volume, complex matters with professionalism and independent prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Handle a full caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery, and other court filings.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Advise clients on case strategies, risks, and potential outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a full caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution

• Maintain compliance with applicable court rules, deadlines, and procedural requirements
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients across multiple jurisdictions to align strategy and execution

What You Bring

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York
• 3+ years of litigation experience , ideally in creditors’ rights, consumer finance, or financial services
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Admission to additional state courts a plus
• Background in banking, compliance, or regulatory law
• Experience coordinating multi-state litigation matters
