Pay: Up to $80 per hour

Job Type: Contract or Contract-to-Hire, Part-Time or Full-Time, Remote (Will need to come in for the occasional meeting)

LHH is working with a large national firm seeking a skilled Commercial Litigation / General Liability Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience to assist with a diverse caseload on a flexible, remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who value work-life balance while continuing to work on substantive matters. The role may transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all phases of litigation from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic case assessments
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in court appearances, settlement conferences, and mediations
• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
• Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines independently

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation and/or general liability
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
• Must be available to attend occasional in-person meetings
