Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough is seeking a talented Associate Attorney in our Houston office to join a top-tier team handling complex commercial litigation, regulatory compliance, and dealership-related matters nationwide. The role emphasizes client exposure, responsibility, and collaboration with partners across offices.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of litigation experience, strong research and writing skills, and a license in good standing in Texas.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.
• Commercial Litigation experience required.
• Exposure to regulatory compliance, administrative law, dealership or distribution law is a plus.
• Licensed and in good standing in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and client communications.
• Assist with discovery, depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Advise land distributors and manufacturers on regulatory compliance matters.
• Counsel clients regarding dealer and franchise relationships.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices on sophisticated litigation and counseling matters.
• Develop direct relationships with national clients.
• This position includes occasional travel to support client matters and team initiatives.
