Qualifications

• Active Missouri license or ability to obtain admission promptly.
• 3+ years of commercial litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Experience drafting dispositive motions and managing discovery.
• Deposition experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation in state and federal courts.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Analyze legal issues and develop case strategy.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnesses.
• Prepare witnesses and assist with trial presentation.
• Negotiate settlements and evaluate case exposure.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys across a variety of litigation matters.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to clients.
