Dykema’s Detroit or Bloomfield Hills office is seeking an associate with 4–7 years of experience in general commercial and business litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background representing businesses and business owners in a range of matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and supply chain issues. Preferred candidates will have meaningful trial experience, including pretrial and post-trial motion practice, managing discovery (such as taking and defending depositions), drafting various pleadings, developing case strategy, and serving as second chair at trial. Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills are required, as well as strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship. Admission to the Michigan Bar is required.
