AMS Staffing Inc. is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney for a permanent role in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of substantive litigation experience and a strong background in commercial or complex civil matters.

You will manage pleadings, depositions, motions, and trial preparation, working closely with experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative boutique environment. Hybrid work options may be available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 4–7 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Strong commercial or complex civil litigation background.
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
• Ability to independently manage significant aspects of complex litigation.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Strong oral advocacy and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters with deadlines.
• Strong judgment and commitment to client service.

Responsibilities

• Handle sophisticated commercial and business litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Manage pleadings, written discovery, document production, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, pleadings, and other complex litigation documents.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings and other court proceedings.
• Develop case strategy in collaboration with partners and clients.
• Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings.
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials as appropriate.
• Handle matters involving breach of contract, business torts, and other complex commercial disputes.
• Depending on experience, work on matters involving real estate and land use, construction, property rights, intellectual property, class actions, arbitration, and appellate issues.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide practical, strategic advice throughout the litigation process.

A highly regarded Tampa-based boutique law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 4–7 years of experience to join its sophisticated litigation practice.

The firm represents a diverse client base that includes businesses, developers, property owners, public entities, and other sophisticated organizations in complex, high-stakes disputes. The practice encompasses a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including business and contract disputes, real estate and land use, construction, property rights, intellectual property, class actions, arbitration, and appellate matters.
