Job summary

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its litigation group in Boca Raton or Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate has two to three years of experience in commercial and complex litigation and is admitted to the Florida Bar.

The candidate will draft and argue discovery, take and defend depositions, and contribute to a collaborative team in an AmLaw 100 firm with strong local community roots.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of meaningful experience in commercial and complex litigation matters.
• Prior service as a federal court clerk is a plus.
• Ability to draft and argue discovery and other motions.
• Ability to take and defend depositions.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and strong organizational, oral and written advocacy skills.

You possess exceptional organizational, oral and written advocacy skills, strong academic credentials, and a solid understanding of procedural and substantive law. You are adept in case management, ready to take the lead, and are admitted to and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
