Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an associate attorney for its Commercial Litigation and Foreclosure practice in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of commercial litigation experience and a Texas license, with foreclosure or real estate litigation exposure preferred.

You will represent lenders and investors, draft complex pleadings, and manage matters from inception through resolution. Strong research, writing, and client communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Texas.
  • 3+ years of commercial litigation experience, with foreclosure, creditors' rights, or real estate litigation experience preferred.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Experience drafting substantive motions is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a docket of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Represent lenders, loan servicers, and investors in judicial and non-judicial foreclosure proceedings.
  • Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery requests and responses, appellate briefs, and other litigation documents.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex commercial and real estate issues.
  • Handle depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials, as appropriate.
  • Advise clients regarding loan enforcement, foreclosure strategy, creditors' rights, title disputes, receiverships, and related real estate matters.
  • Communicate directly with clients to provide strategic legal advice and case updates.
  • Work collaboratively with partners and other attorneys while managing matters independently.]
