Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 2–6 years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and substantive litigation documents
• Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda
• Managing discovery and litigation deadlines
• Taking and defending depositions
• Participating in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Assisting with case strategy and client counseling
• Working directly with partners and clients on sophisticated litigation matters

What You'll Do

Depending on the opportunity, attorneys may work on matters involving:

• Complex commercial and business disputes
• Corporate and partnership litigation
• Fiduciary duty and business tort claims
• Fraud and misrepresentation claims
• Shareholder, member, and ownership disputes
• Professional liability matters
• Construction and development-related litigation
• Appellate support and strategic motion practice

Responsibilities May Include

• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and substantive litigation documents
• Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda
• Managing discovery and litigation deadlines
• Taking and defending depositions
• Participating in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials

Preferred Experience

• Florida state and/or federal court experience
• Experience with depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, or trial preparation
• Prior experience with a litigation boutique, regional, or AmLaw firm
