Texas Security General Insurance Agency seeks a Commercial Lines P&C Account Manager/Associate for its team in San Antonio, Texas. This can be a remote-from-home opportunity for the right candidate. Must be domiciled in Texas.

Texas Security General Insurance Agency, LLC (TSGA), based in San Antonio, Texas, is a managing general insurance agency founded in 1995. Over the years, TSGA has grown from offering two products to a broad range of personal and commercial insurance markets, including homeowners, dwelling fire, mobile homes, and commercial property, liability, and inland marine products. TSGA is committed to providing its agents with excellent market access and technological advances, including its real-time internet-based program ISi, Internet Solutions for Insurance.

What Will You Do?

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Associate will assist retail agents, P&C underwriters, and other team members in processing duties efficiently, accurately, and promptly, supporting revenue growth.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Upload policies, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, invoices, memos, and other documentation necessary for issuance, maintaining speed and accuracy.
  • May compute rates, endorsements, and cancellations at supervisor’s discretion.
  • Develop a working knowledge of required forms and company guidelines for insurance policy completion.
  • Ensure timely and accurate issuance of binders for new and renewal P&C business, review and execute suspense items promptly, and provide high-quality customer service via phone and email.
  • Issue timely and accurate Notices of Cancellation (NOC) as directed, and support CL submissions setup as needed.
What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • One or more years of insurance industry experience and ability to obtain a P&C license.
  • Ability to multitask and perform under stress.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High accuracy in proofreading and data entry.
  • Problem-solving skills to address insurance issues for retail agents.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Professional, friendly attitude.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Potential for advancement to Underwriter based on performance and management approval.
