LP Insurance is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Assistant to provide administrative support to the team, enabling focus on client servicing and selling. You will assist with data management, document preparation, and project support across the department.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years in commercial insurance or professional environment, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Word/Excel; bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven organizational, time management and professional communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; insurance database experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of administrative broker and/or carrier experience or related customer service
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or pursuing one.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive customer service with rigorous follow-up and follow-through.
• Support day-to-day customer service by preparing information and managing data.
• Produce documents in line with departmental standards and maintain organized files.
• Foster relationships with the team, clients, underwriters and carriers.
• Create proposals and/or comparisons of insurance; stay current with industry trends.
