Job summary

BancFirst Insurance Services in Muskogee, OK is seeking a Commercial Lines Processor to support Account Managers by processing New, Renewal, Endorsement and Audit transactions in a fast-paced environment.

You will verify coverages in EPIC against policy documents, resolve discrepancies with supervision, and assist with special projects and mail outs. Onsite position with excellent benefits and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Education mandatory; college degree preferred.
• Ability to learn Property and Casualty insurance quickly.
• Proficient with Word and Excel or similar programs.
• Experience operating computers and standard office equipment.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• License in Property and Casualty insurance within 6–12 months.

Responsibilities

• Process New, Renewal, Endorsement, and Audit transactions per the processing checklist.
• Verify that EPIC coverages match policy terms and reflect on the apps.
• Identify and discuss any discrepancies with a supervisor for action.
• Assist Account Manager with special projects, mail outs, and submissions.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting Account Manager(s) and/or producers in the servicing and processing of New, Renewal, Endorsement, Certificates and Audit transactions or other tasks assigned in a timely, accurate and positive manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• New, Renewal, Endorsement, and Audit
• Process policies, endorsements, audits, or other tasks assigned per the instructions given to the processor on the processing checklist and may perform on-line rating functions and quoting upon licensure.
• In processing the new, renewal, endorsement, or audit business the processor must verify the coverages on the apps in EPIC actually reflect what is on the policy.
• If there are any discrepancies between the actual policy and EPIC this will need to be discussed with their appropriate supervisor as to what action needs to be taken.
• Assist the Account Manager on special projects/mail outs/submissions as needed or requested

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Education mandatory with college degree preferred.
• Ability to learn Property and Casualty insurance in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work with computer technology including use of Word and Excel or other relevant programs.
• Ability to operate computers and general office equipment
• Aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organizational and Time Management skills to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
• Above average verbal, written and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility.
• Requirement of obtaining insurance license within 6 months to 1 year.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear
• Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday

• Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 10 pounds
