Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies is seeking a form and rate analyst in Fairfield, Ohio, within our Commercial Lines Filings Management team. You will develop state filings and manage work to support DOI approval of Commercial Lines priorities, ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations.

The role is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, OH, with a pay range of $50,000–$104,000 annually. Eligible associates may receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or prior insurance experience.
• Knowledge of state insurance regulations and filing procedures.
• Interest in commercial lines and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and submit filings to the DOI for new and revised products.
• Create, update, and maintain state-specific forms and rules in state rating manuals.
• Understand DOI requirements for various filings to ensure timely approvals.
• Proactively communicate with DOIs and internal stakeholders regarding filing updates and status.
• Utilize negotiating skills when working with state departments of insurance.
• Identify problems, make recommendations, and solicit feedback from Product, Underwriting, Claims, and Corporate Legal when needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with DOIs.
• Research statutes, bills, ISO circulars, PCI announcements and competitor filings to determine necessary actions and communicate them to management, Product, Claims, and Corporate Legal.
• Manage work based on multiple timelines.
• Work independently within an agile environment, while effectively collaborating and engaging with teams divided by line of business

The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $104,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
