Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Account Manager in Atlanta, GA to support producers, market new business, and renewals for mid-to-large Commercial Lines clients. You will document activities, analyze plans, and service accounts while coordinating with underwriters and carriers.

Ideal candidates have a P&C Producer License, 3+ years in account management in the required lines, and strong outside-the-box cross-selling insight.

Responsibilities

Assist producers by marketing new business and renewal submissions for clients.
Document marketing and client-related activities.
Understand clients’ insurance objectives and analyze plans for suitability.
Review and service client accounts proactively.
Obtain renewal information and prepare submissions.
Select markets and negotiate with underwriters; prepare proposals.
Process policies and review issued policies for accuracy and endorsements.

Job description

Work alongside Producers and other Associated personnel on all aspects of client procedures
Independently assist producers by marketing new business and renewal submissions for new and existing clients
Document marketing and client-related activities
Understand clients’ insurance objectives
Analyze and compare insurance plans for suitability
Review and service client accounts proactively
Obtain necessary renewal information
Prepare applications, surveys and other submission documents
Select markets and negotiate with underwriters
Prepare proposals
Process policies and review issued policies for accuracy and endorsements
Document conversations with clients and carrier representatives
Update Associated management systems
Liaise between clients and insurance carriers to resolve service issues
Input and update policy details and maintain new/renewal client files
Develop new business from existing accounts
Contribute to departmental production goals
Identify and follow up on cross-selling opportunities

Requirements

Resident P&C Producer License
Middle Market Risk Experience
At least 3+ years of experience in an Account Management role in required lines / 3-5 years of experience in an Account Management role
Contract and Lease Review Experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate with both clients and agency personnel
Ability to listen, clarify and respond well to questions
Demonstrated proficiency with Applied Systems Epic
Experience in an insurance setting
Ability to manage mid-to-large sized Commercial Lines insurance accounts
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle a high-volume workload
