Barnes Insurance Agency is seeking an Account Manager to maintain and grow relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met and service is outstanding.

The ideal candidate has professional office experience, is detail oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills. This on-site role in Pigeon Forge, TN operates Monday through Friday with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional customer service experience; insurance experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office; EPIC is a plus.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Able to work on-site in Pigeon Forge, TN, M-F 8:30-5 or 8-4:30.

Responsibilities

• Establish and build customer relationships.
• Respond to inquiries about insurance policies, coverage, and changes.
• Maintain detailed records of conversations and policy changes.
• Stay informed on carrier products and industry standards.
• Prepare and maintain summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals.
• Serve as liaison between clients and carriers to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Producers in policy review and delivery.
• Bill clients, review accounts, and maintain accounting history.

Job Description:

Our Account Managers are responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with our clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met, and providing outstanding service. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in a professional office environment, detail oriented, with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and build customer relationships
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance policies, coverage and changes
• Maintain detailed records of customer conversations and policy changes
• Stay informed on carrier products and industry standards
• Prepare and maintain accurate summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals
• Serve as a liaison between clients and carriers to resolve service issues and policy interpretation
• Collaborate with Producers in policy review and delivery
• Contact clients regarding outstanding receivables; invoices clients; reviews and accurately maintains accounting history

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a professional customer service role, insurance experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service, analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office
• EPIC agency management system knowledge a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Strong computer and technology skills
• Must be able to work on-site in Pigeon Forge, TN M-F 8:30-5 or 8-4:30
