Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to support our growing Commercial Transportation team. This role provides service support to help the sales team acquire new clients and retain existing ones, while meeting service standards and contributing to the overall growth of Acrisure.

Key duties include handling account transactions, responding to inquiries, assisting with insurance marketing, and maintaining data accuracy in Applied Systems/EPIC.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to discern priority and initiative.
• Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong people skills.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, premiums, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Applied Systems / EPIC experience is a plus.
• Know and apply principles of insurance to everyday situations.

Responsibilities

• Service accounts, including transactions such as quotes, policies, IDs, endorsements, certificates, claims, renewals, follow-up, and correspondence.
• Respond to client inquiries and requests promptly.
• Insurance marketing and sales support.
• Collect renewal data on assigned accounts.
• Claims support and coverage development as needed.
• Review new/renewal policies to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain client data in Applied Systems/EPIC.
• Document all activities in the agency system.
• Assist other departments with information for issuing policies.
• Keep Producers informed of important activities on accounts.

Job Summary

Acrisure is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager join our growing Commercial Transportation team. Our Account Managers are pivotal in aiding clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts. Specific service and marketing responsibilities are required in this position. Must meet service and sales delivery standards and perform essential functions to the quality and service standards developed by Acrisure. The duties and responsibilities of this position are to support the goals, mission and needs of Acrisure. Primarily, this entails providing the sales team with the necessary service support to aid them in obtaining new clients and retaining existing ones.

Responsibilities

• Service accounts, including account transactions such as quote and issue policies, ID cards, proposal endorsements, certificates, claims, renewals, follow-up, and correspondence.
• Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company request needs on a timely basis.
• Insurance marketing and sales.
• Collect renewal data on assigned accounts.
• Claims support.
• Develop coverage strategies and plans, as necessary.
• Review new/renewal policies and endorsements to ensure items were received as ordered.
• Maintain accuracy of client data in agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC).
• Document all activities in agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC).
• Understand and utilize upload, download, and interface technology.
• Assist other departments in securing and/or providing information necessary to issue appropriate policies in their department for which we have a mutual client.
• Keeping Producers informed of all important activities on their accounts including being sensitive to potential problems and informing management.
• Keep current with industry trends including participation in educational seminars and classes for improvement of insurance/sales skills and license compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of current underwriting requirements of contracted insurance carriers.
• Maintain knowledge of policy provisions and any changes in these provisions.
• Complete other functions and assignments assigned, including backup duties.

Requirements

Education and Experience

High School diploma required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lines. Commercial insurance transportation experience highly preferred. CPCU or special training course completion is a plus.
