Job summary

CivicMinds, Inc in Houston seeks an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of mid-to-large accounts, provide renewal support, and collaborate with clients and carriers on service needs.

You will solicit quotes, prepare applications, monitor expirations, and identify coverage gaps while delivering proactive service and ongoing relationship management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance within an agency or underwriting environment.
• Strong knowledge of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance.
• Active Texas Property & Casualty License required.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with Applied Epic and/or CSR24 is a plus.
• CISR, CIC or CPCU designation, or active pursuit of industry certifications, preferred.
