Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Commercial Operations and Account Executive Team Lead, provide superior service in expanding and maintaining the Commercial Lines Department client base; analyze and maintain an assigned book of business by visiting clients, determining their insurance needs, and implementing services to help the client maintain their insurance; assist with quoting, handling client requests by mail, phone and email or in person from the policy holders, carrier representatives or others concerning their insurance needs; responsible for meeting growth and retention goals as well as implementing and managing service plans for designated clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage client renewal process through coordination of the account management team’s efforts
• Conduct regular meetings with clients including but not limited to Renewal Proposals and Pre‑Renewal meetings with and without Sales Consultant
• Stay informed of industry trends including carrier appetites & relationships, and manage expectations with clients
• Assist Sales Consultants with new business development
• Execute SHAPE Service Standards to meet growth and retention goals

Certificates / Licenses / Education

• Property & Casualty Insurance License Required
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Valid Drivers License Required
• Relevant Insurance/Risk Management Designations Preferred
• Experience managing a book of business within the Construction Industry Preferred
