Overview
The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong communication and relationship-building skills. The Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their insurance needs and providing expert advice.
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Proactively identify and address client needs and concerns.
- Conduct regular client reviews and meetings to ensure satisfaction.
- Account Servicing:
- Process policy changes, renewals, and endorsements accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and deliver insurance proposals and presentations.
- Handle client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage certificate of insurance requests.
- Manage the renewal process from start to finish.
- Policy Management:
- Review and analyze insurance policies to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in agency management systems.
- Market Knowledge:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and new insurance products.
- Conduct market research and analysis as needed.
- Communicate market updates to clients and internal teams.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with producers, underwriters, and claims departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement risk management strategies.
- Cross sell and up sell current clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
