Position Overview

The Commercial Licensed Electrician is responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work while supporting operational efficiency and project completion. This role works closely with employees, customers, vendors, and leadership to ensure electrical systems are installed and maintained safely, accurately, and in compliance with company and industry standards.

Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous electrical installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Experience within construction, operations, or service environments preferred.
  • Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.
  • Experience supporting field operations or assisting senior technicians is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Communicate in person, by phone, and through email.
  • Travel as required to support project and operational needs.
  • Stand, walk, climb ladders and stairs, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Sit for extended periods while driving to and between job sites.
  • Work on active job sites, indoors and outdoors, including attics, crawlspaces, and confined or elevated spaces, with exposure to varying weather, construction noise, dust, and other job site conditions.
  • Wear safety gear such as Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Maintain dependable transportation and consistent, reliable attendance to meet customer service and operational needs.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require.
  • Perform all work on-site and in person; this is not a remote or hybrid position.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
