About the role

As a Solution Architect, you will define the current and target state architecture, drive design decisions, and collaborate with stakeholders across middleware, backend systems, and enterprise platforms to deliver a robust end-to-end solution. You will be a valued member of the Banking & Financial Services Consulting team and work collaboratively with stakeholders, technical teams, vendor partners and clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Define and document current state and target state architecture for the lending modernization program.

  • Lead solution design discussions with business and technology stakeholders.

  • Position architectural decisions and trade-offs with senior stakeholders.

  • Ensure seamless integration between source system and ACBS (target system), including middleware and backend systems.

  • Provide architectural oversight across the full delivery lifecycle.

What you must have to be considered

  • 7+ years of experience in IT architecture, with a strong focus on commercial lending platforms.

  • Proven expertise in ACBS implementation and integration, preferably within large-scale modernization programs.

  • Deep understanding of ACBS, and related financial systems.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Experience designing and integrating complex enterprise systems.

  • Up to 25% travel may be required.

These will help you succeed

  • Prior experience working with FIS products and teams.

  • Exposure to consulting environments or global financial institutions.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based architecture and digital transformation initiatives.

Compensation

  • $110,000-$158,500

  • This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans
