Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required; College degree in Finance/Accounting preferred.
• 1 year lending experience or 3 years related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and manuals.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Financial and analytical skills.
• Customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Work with Loan Assistant and Lender to collect financial data to determine credit worthiness and loan merits.
• Prepare loan submission forms, addendums, and other submission package components.
• Assist in all aspects of managing the Lender's portfolio.
• Obtain and retain product knowledge.
• Support collection of past-due loans.
• Support clearing of financial statement and documentation exceptions.
• Direct financial information to credit analysts for spreading and analysis.
• Monitor developments in lending, compliance with loan policies and regulations.
• Maintain working knowledge of loan documentation and bank terminology.
• Assist in preparing reports and submissions to credit administration and loan review.
• Participate with Lender in marketing and direct sales to prospects.
