Job summary

Prosperity Bank and Trust Co is offering a Summer 2027 Commercial Lending Intern position in Tulsa, OK. This 8-week internship includes reviewing credit reports, analyzing financial statements, and supporting loan origination and underwriting processes as part of the Central Oklahoma Lending and Credit teams.

The role provides exposure to credit risk review, portfolio monitoring, and potential client development, with rotations through multiple departments and a final loan-presentation project.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work on multiple transactions simultaneously and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex financial information and identify relevant risks.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Spreading and analysis of commercial financial statements for prospective and existing loan customers.
• Assist in performing financial analysis and underwriting of loan packages, including charts and narrative on sources & uses, capitalization, and collateral valuation.
• Assist in diligence for prospective and existing customers related to business descriptions, industry analysis, market analysis, and other credit risk analyses.
• Review loan request presentation packages including loan structuring, collateral analysis, guarantor analysis, and calculation of Global Debt Service Coverage.
• Obtain and analyze diligence materials for collateral value.
• Rotations through various departments as available.
• Shadowing opportunities as assigned.
• Final summer project around a loan presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
