The Union Bank Company seeks an onsite Commercial Lending Assistant to support lending officers with document requests, loan presentations, and closings. This role coordinates closings with title companies and clients, ensuring due diligence and adherence to bank policy.

Candidates should have at least 3 years' experience in commercial loan processing or related fields and strong customer service skills to handle inquiries and maintain relationships.

Qualifications

Arranges appointments, and closings for Commercial Lender(s).Ensures due diligence is present and has been completed on loan requests prior to closing. Assists Lenders with loan presentations, commitment letters, annual reviews and other documentation. Reviewing loans to make sure that they are in accordance with Lender’s request, Bank Policy, and regulatory requirements.Assist Lenders in maintaining accurate financial information on customers. This includes monitoring & requesting updated financial information by letter and phone.Request loan document packages for closing, and then processing the closing package for loan servicing to upload and fund the loan. This may include sending documents for recording. Also monitoring of closing exceptions to complete the file.Will act as a liaison with Clients, Loan Servicing, Loan Processing, Asset Management, Loan Review, Credit Analysis, and all third-party suppliers (i.e. legal counsel, appraisers, etc.).
