Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of post-JD legal experience in the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or life sciences industry.
• Active membership in at least one state bar.
• Significant experience supporting commercial pharmaceutical operations and product commercialization.
• Strong leadership, judgment, and communication skills.
• Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal advisor for U.S. Commercial functions, providing practical, business-oriented counsel that enables strategic decision-making while managing risk.
• Partner with commercial leadership to develop strategies compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
• Advise on product launches, lifecycle management, and market access strategies.
• Review promotional materials, campaigns, and digital communications for FDA compliance.
• Negotiate rebates, value-based arrangements, and distribution contracts.
• Support healthcare compliance, risk assessments, audits, and investigations as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage external counsel.
• Provide leadership within the Legal & Compliance organization and mentor staff.
