Job summary

Anthropic's Commercial Legal team seeks a Technical AI implementation specialist to scale and optimize legal operations using Claude and related technologies. You will drive AI adoption across workflows, build self-service contracting tools, and coordinate with Engineering and Product to deliver governance and measurable efficiency gains.

You will evaluate and implement legal tech platforms, create AI-based solutions for contract review, redlining, and diligence requests, and develop dashboards

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating and implementing legal tech platforms such as contract management systems, workflow management systems, or document management tools.
• Hands-on experience with LLM tools (especially Claude!).
• Ability to translate legal needs into scalable technical solutions and collaborate cross-functionally.

About the role

Join Anthropic's Commercial Legal team as a Technical AI implementation specialist, where you'll be responsible for leveraging Claude and other technologies to scale and increase efficiency of legal operations. You'll drive AI adoption across team workflows, optimize internal tooling, and lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance productivity. Key responsibilities

Minimum qualifications

• Experience evaluating and implementing legal technology platforms such as contract management systems, workflow management systems, or document management tools
• Show genuine curiosity about AI/ML applications and hands-on experience with LLM tools (especially Claude!)
• Possess excellent problem-solving skills and can translate legal business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Excel at cross-functional collaboration and can communicate effectively with both technical and legal stakeholders
• Self-directed and can manage multiple technical projects simultaneously

Preferred qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in legal operations, legal technology, or technical roles supporting legal teams
• Technical aptitude with system integration knowledge
• Familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools or a background in machine learning or data science
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Proven project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver quality results
• Collaborative team player mindset with genuine interest in technology development and AI, thriving in fast-paced environments

Role-specific policy: For this role, we expect all staff to be able to work from our San Francisco or New York office at least 3 days a week, though we encourage you to apply even if you might need some flexibility for an interim period of time.

The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
