Nextech is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial food service equipment. You’ll work independently with strong support, handling duties from diagnostics to preventative maintenance and on-site service.

Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, relevant mechanical/electrical skills, and willingness to on-call. Nextech offers a sign-on bonus, company vehicle, home-based dispatch, and comprehensive

Responsabilités

• Service, repair, installation, and maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment including refrigeration.
• Diagnose mechanical, electronic, and electrical issues and repair to manufacturer specifications.
• Coordinate daily schedules with dispatch and communicate changes professionally.
• Maintain detailed electronic work orders and documentation via a company-issued iPad.
• Answer customer questions and identify additional service needs.
• Participate in rotating on-call shifts for emergency service needs.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory to high standards.
• Attend ongoing technical training to stay up to date with industry advancements.
• Report safety concerns and identify potential new business opportunities.
• Support team and promote a culture of service, excellence, and safety.

What You'll Be Doing

As a CKE Technician at Nextech, you'll be on the front lines of service excellence - diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial food service equipment for a wide range of clients. You'll work independently while being backed by an incredible support team that ensures you're always set up for success.

Here’s what your day could include:

• Performing service, repair, installation, and maintenance on a variety of commercial kitchen equipment including refrigeration

• Diagnosing mechanical, electronic, and electrical issues and making repairs to manufacturer specifications

• Coordinating daily schedules with dispatch and ensuring all delays or changes are communicated professionally

• Managing accurate and detailed electronic work orders and documentation using a company-issued iPad

• Answering customer questions, identifying additional service needs, and delivering an exceptional customer experience

• Participating in rotating on-call shifts for emergency service needs

• Maintaining your company vehicle, tools, and inventory to the highest standards

• Attending ongoing technical training to stay up to date with industry advancements

• Reporting safety concerns and identifying potential new business opportunities

• Supporting your team and contributing to a culture of service, excellence, and safety

USD $32.00/Hr.

Max Compensation

Physical Requirements

This role is active and physically demanding. You must be able to:

• Safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods

• Lift up to 50 lbs and work with heavy equipment

• Climb ladders and access rooftops comfortably and routinely

• Use hand tools and electronic devices regularly

• Work in tight or elevated spaces, indoors and outdoors

• Handle exposure to weather, electrical equipment, and commercial machinery

• Wear protective equipment (helmet, goggles, boots, etc.)

• Perform regular bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
