Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and fryers. You will work directly with clients to diagnose issues and provide efficient solutions, ensuring smooth and safe kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on commercial kitchen equipment.
2. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues.
3. Install new kitchen equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
4. Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
5. Maintain accurate records of services and parts used.
6. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
7. Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, cleared by our insurance before onboarding.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.
• Strong problem-solving and math skills, with the ability to calculate parts and quantities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Additional Information:

• Background check: 3-year felony background check; no pending cases or warrants.
• Drug screen: 10-panel pre-employment test.
• Schedule: To be discussed during onboarding; on-call rotation once per month; weekends as needed.
• Experience & Certifications: EPA Certification required.
• Technician Duties: Service, diagnose, and repair chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and HVAC/refrigeration equipment.

Salary and Schedule

Full-time position with salary based on experience.

• 8-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
• On-call and weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience with hot side commercial equipment, HVAC, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and commercial HVAC.
