Job summary

East Bay Restaurant Supply, Inc. is seeking an Installer to safely install commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment on customer sites. You will read blueprints, set and seal prefabricated components, and coordinate with project managers and electricians.

This full-time, hourly role requires strong mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work in both shop and field environments. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in equipment installation or commercial kitchen fit-out.
• Proficiency using hand and power tools for cutting, drilling, fastening, and assembling.
• Ability to read blueprints and installation manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install prefabricated kitchen equipment per specs and drawings.
• Assemble panels, floors, ceilings, and walk-in cooler components.
• Install stainless steel sinks, tables, cabinets, and trim.
• Hang and secure exhaust hoods and related equipment.
• Measure, cut, and fit materials with hand/power tools safely.
• Read blueprints and product data to complete work with minimal supervision.
• Load/unload and protect equipment during transport to job sites.
• Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on-site.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety procedures.
• Complete installation checklists and daily logs on time.
