Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a full-time Journeyman Electrician to join our electrical division in Utah. The role requires traveling to multiple job sites, with a typical schedule Monday through Friday and some out-of-town work as needed.

The candidate will plan, design and execute electrical construction projects, read blueprints, install components, mentor apprentices, and diagnose issues while staying compliant with codes and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active state Journeyman license.
• Must be willing to travel 50%–100% of the time to various job sites.
• Must pass background check, drug and functional capacity tests.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must own the tools of the trade.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, organize and execute electrical construction projects.
• Read blueprints and install electrical components and equipment.
• Mentor apprentice electricians on the jobsite and work independently.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently and safely.
• Maintain regular attendance and adapt to site schedules.

Hunt Electric, Inc.is searching for afull-timeJourneyman Electricianto join our team within our electrical division.We have minimal work in the ST George area. You will be expected to travel to various work site locations.

In the position ofJourneyman Electrician, you would be responsible for planning, design, organization, andexecution of electricalconstructionprojects with the ability to adapt to changing codes, regulations, and safety requirements.

Major Duties:

• Relevant experience in commercial and residential electrical.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs.
• Can read and understand blueprints well.
• Can bend up to 1 1/2" conduit.
• Install electrical components and equipment.
• Be able to work independently.
• Effectively and efficiently diagnose and repair electrical issues.
• Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
• Ability to mentor apprentice electricians on the jobsite.
• Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
• Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and complianceto scheduled work hours.
• Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
