Job Details

• Position: Commercial Journeyman Electrician
• Company: Tongass Enterprises LLC
• Salary: $50 - $74 per hour, depending on experience
• Seasonal position from June 1st - Nov 1st (estimated), with potential for year-round employment
• Up to $7,500 project completion bonus based on quality of work
• We accept both Union and Non-Union Candidates
• Airfare, housing, and $33 daily meal allowance provided

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform electrical installations and repairs in compliance with codes
• Lead and mentor apprentices
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Manage tools and vehicles for projects
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Alaska JM license or JM license from a reciprocal state (list of states included)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and building construction
• Physical ability to handle demanding tasks (lifting over 50 lbs, climbing)
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Pass a background check and possess basic hand tools

Work Environment

• Fieldwork at various sites, including homes and construction areas
• Exposure to physical activities and varying weather conditions
• Responsible for safety and training of apprentices
