Job summary
Merit Landscape Solutions of Texas is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to support installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial irrigation systems in San Antonio, Texas. You will work with high-performing crews to troubleshoot and repair clocks, valves, heads, and pumps, and perform seasonal activations, winterizations, and audits, ensuring quality results for local clients.
The role requires 2+ years of irrigation experience (commercial preferred), a valid driver's license,
Qualifications
- 2+ years irrigation experience (commercial preferred).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
- Comfort using tools and wiring systems, and reading site plans.
- Backflow certification or willingness to obtain (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems (clocks, valves, heads, pumps).
- Perform seasonal services (activations, winterizations, audits).
- Track parts, materials, and service logs.
- Communicate with clients and team leads about system needs.
- Support snow operations or enhancement crews in off-season.
