Job summary

Forever Green Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Irrigation Technician to join our growing Lowcountry team in Charleston, SC.

You will startup and shutdown systems, troubleshoot and repair commercial irrigation networks, and communicate repair recommendations to Account Managers. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' experience with commercial irrigation, familiarity with two-wire systems, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

Experience with two-wire irrigation systems.
2+ years experience installing/troubleshooting commercial irrigation systems.
Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Irrigation license or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Startup and shutdown of irrigation systems.
Work with the office to create proposals for repair work.
Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot irrigation systems to determine repair needs.
Complete projects within allotted time with attention to detail.
Diagnose and repair commercial irrigation systems.
Troubleshoot valves, wiring, decoders, controllers, and electrical issues.
Repair sprinkler heads, lateral lines, main lines, and valves.
Install and program irrigation controllers.
Perform irrigation audits and seasonal system adjustments.
Identify water waste and recommend improvements.
Communicate repairs and recommendations with Account Managers.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and equipment.
Maintain a detailed inventory of parts and equipment used and stocked.
Follow all company safety procedures.
