Job summary
Yellowstone is seeking an Irrigation Technician to oversee irrigation and landscaping maintenance contracts on high-profile commercial properties. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot repairs, and scout sites for issues.
Daily pre-trip vehicle checks and participation in safety trainings are required. Strong English communication is essential; knowledge of irrigation clocks, pumps, and valves is a plus, with Spanish a bonus.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic pump operation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of irrigation clocks, adjusting/repairing irrigation heads, sensors, valve repair, and lateral & mainline repairs.
- Basic knowledge of irrigation system installation, setup, and maintenance.
- Must have reliable transportation to the Branch or first job site.
- Strong English communication skills; Spanish a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine irrigation inspections and generate reports for assigned high-profile properties.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs.
- Scout properties beyond assigned needs for any issues.
- Complete a pre-trip inspection report on vehicle, trailers, and equipment daily.
- Contribute to our safety culture by attending and actively participating in weekly safety trainings.
- Follow company safety protocols, identify, and communicate safety issues to the team.
